Sydney Johnson is a master carpenter for an anti-tech colonization effort on a frontier planet. His children are dead. The colonists are dying. That deaths sprout up where he’s been hasn’t gone unnoticed. Surreal dreams, black outs and whispering voices plague him. The voices name him a murderer. They assure him every death rests on his red stained hands. Sydney’s forced to question his own sanity. Has grief broken him? Has he gone mad? Did he murder his own children? Is one a part of the other or does a more sinister answer await him hidden within the trees?
